We began working with Avant Blue Medical Systems in 2011. They were in the early stages of rebranding and expanding their range of medical services.

The primary care physician saw a need in the Barbadian market to specialise beyond family medicine and move into targeting the cause of many of the chronic non-communicable diseases found in Barbados.

IDS developed the visual identity of the brand and work closely with the principal physician's clear vision for Avant Blue. The brand emerged from the concept of the 'blue zone' an area of health in which 3 core factors of family, nature and spirituality converge to support optimal health.

Over the course of the project, our involvement includes developing the brand from logo and visual identity systems, core messaging and collateral, to art direction for photography and video and working with various fashion designers and artisans to create a quality Caribbean lifestyle brand.
